Tracking Alpha

What it is

The approvals, vote and minimum tender conditions a deal still needs to close.

How to read it

Each pending approval, vote or minimum tender condition, in the order the filings list them. Approvals use their short names: HSR, EU, CMA, SAMR, Antitrust, CFIUS and Other. One condition alone reads Only HSR left or Only the vote left. A failed approval isn't waited on: the Regulatory column says it. A dash means none of these conditions is pending. If the filings do not name the approvals, the column says approvals with a note explaining that gap.

Sorting by it puts the deals with the most approvals pending first. The Waiting on filter picks deals by a regulator they still wait on.
