A deal whose buyer and target have signed a merger agreement, as opposed to a proposal, a rumor or a strategic review.

How to read it
The list shows signed deals only. A non-binding proposal, or an offer made to holders without the target's agreement, isn't listed. The checklist's Agreement line reads Definitive agreement.
